Employed as an architect in various architectural offices (Hamburg, Berlin)
After taking a doctorate (2000) at the Kaiserslautern University (“Das Gedächtnis
der Stadt” [The Memory of the Town]), lecturerships (2003 – 2006) at the
Technische Universität Berlin (architectural and urban-development history).
In 2008 submission of the postdoctoral thesis “Die Paradoxie des postmodernen Historismus” (The paradox of postmodern historicism ) required for qualification as a university lecturer, published in 2009.
In 2010 qualification conferred.
